The Wisdom of Buddy Cole
If you don't know Buddy Cole, then you're in for a treat.
Charles Budderick "Buddy" Cole is the creation of Canadian comedian Scott Thompson. A proudly effeminate, gay socialite, he was made famous on The Kids in the Hall, the Canadian sketch comedy TV series.
According to his "autobiography" Buddy Babylon, Cole was the youngest of 23 children born to pig farmers in Saint-Hubert-sur-le-Lac, Quebec. He somehow got married to a Hollywood actress named Tandy, becoming a stepfather to conjoined twins named Suzanne and Pleshette.
He is also the owner of a gay bar called Buddy's; he used the money he saved when he quit smoking.
He's sassy. He's rude. He's the furthest thing from politically correct. And we love him!
