Adding a Little Lace to Your Wardrobe

Detroit’s Perry Wayne brings a unique boldness to your wardrobe with Wayne Underwear. His aim: to make everyone feel sexy and confident. But this isn't your traditional men's clothing line, as Wayne balances bold prints, tight fitting fabric, and a little bit of lace.

And he's not afraid of showing off lots of skin to sell his underwear.

“Sex sells, right? So some shoots are hyper-sexual, but we just have fun,” Wayne admitted.

At 30, Wayne's underwear is sold in 48 countries, and he dreams of becoming the largest male lace retailer by his 40s.

Wayne's journey started after noticing a lack of men’s underwear that was both sexy and high-quality. His bold move to create men’s lace underwear paid off, with the brand going viral after its 2019 launch. Wayne used earnings from retail jobs - shifts at Macy’s, PacSun and DoorDash - and his 401K to fund the venture. He started with 500 lace pieces.

“Maybe it was risky, but it takes someone truly incredible to take that leap and then follow through to make it a success,” says Kendall Smith, a close friend.
