Sniffies is Now an App - But Only For Apple
Popular hook-up site Sniffies saw “explosive regional growth” in 2024, even though it was only available online through its website. That changed as of Monday, when the company launched an iOS app version.
“For years, Sniffies has disrupted the way queer men connect, blending real-time exploration with digital precision,” read the company's press release. “Now, with a native iOS app, it’s taking things to the next level — offering deeper integration, enhanced performance, and an even smoother, sex-positive experience. This isn’t just another hookup app — it’s a movement redefining what it means to explore, connect, and play.”
If you haven't used Sniffies before, it isn't like other hook-up options. Instead of a grid of pics, users are shown on a map. It gives you a clearer idea of who might be close enough for a quickie. Cruising locations are also listed, with people indicating that they're there.
“Sniffies has always been about breaking barriers and making real-time connections easier. With the iOS app, we’re giving our Cruisers an even more seamless way to explore, connect, and play — wherever they are,” Sniffies CEO and Founder Blake Gallagher explained. “Our web-app remains the foundation, but this launch is a major step in expanding the Sniffies experience — giving our cruisers even greater access to the connections they desire.”
Sniffies promised that the website will remain the foundation of its business, while offering the app to users as an alternate way to cruise in their area.
An app for Android users is being worked on.
